One of the most useful and engaging tools I taught my eMINTS teachers is Nearpod. Use of Nearpod is one of our district's goals. My teachers have absolutely embraced this tool and use it quite often. In fact, my Math teachers use this tool almost daily. One of the first Nearpods I used was to teach about Chromebooks. Once I showed this tool, they immediately used it in class. As I was coaching it was an awesome to see this implementation and to do it so well.
In addition to Nearpod, one of the other tools my teachers seemed to like was Pearltrees. Pearltrees is a curation tool. I used Pearltrees in my PD and they created their own Pearltrees. Throughout the month as I was doing observations, I noticed my ELA teachers using the Pearltrees to help curate materials for their students' argumentative papers. It was awesome to see students focused reading the articles and websites their teachers had curated, as opposed to sifting through the millions of sites if they had Googled themselves.
