One of the very first things I had to prepare was the year one kickoff. During this session, I met all the teachers I would be working with for the next year. I was brand new to Butler Middle School, and I was brand new to eMINTS! Being new to Butler and eMINTS was not the only new thing. It was also the first time I would be working with my "partner in crime", Julie. I was excited and nervous all at once. I definitely had my work cut out for me!
It the first time we would introduce our teachers to the eMINTS Instructional Model. From the very beginning, it was important that Julie and I integrate this model with the Canyons District Instructional Priorities. We wanted eMINTS to be something that enhanced our teachers' practice, rather than add to it. As can be seen from the artifacts below, it was a success and a good start to the beginning of this journey.
